Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Indonesia will open in 2011. The Council of Ministers adopted a relevant resolution on 19 January.

The Embassy will be opened in accordance with paragraph 8 of the regulations on diplomatic missions and consular institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the joint communique on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, on June 18, 1993.
