In 2016 from the Republican budget will be allocated to 1.02 trillion. rubles for financing the costs of the reconstruction and development of regions affected by the Chernobyl disaster. Foreseen by the decision of the Council of Ministers of 19 February 2016 No. 137.

Funds will be distributed between the consolidated budgets of areas and Minsk. In particular, the Gomel oblast will be allocated 530 billion, Mogilev region – 330 billion rubles, Brest - 110 billion, Minsk – 20 billion rubles, Vitebsk – 15 billion rubles. For Minsk provided funding in the amount of 3 billion rubles.

Regional Executive committees and Minsk city Executive Committee with the approval of the Ministry of emergency situations is charged with developing the lists of objects the funding of which will be funded by the allocated funds, and to clarify, if necessary, within 2016 the volume of financing of the objects included in the lists within the annual planned appointments.

Personal responsibility for purposeful and effective use of funds entrusted to heads of regional Executive committees and Minsk city Executive Committee.

The decision comes into force after its official publication.
