Belarus, Georgia explore ways to expand bilateral cooperation

Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Shuleiko met with Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on 16 March.

The parties primarily discussed practical matters of expanding trade and economic interaction. Belarus and Georgia are ready to identify growth points and develop bilateral cooperation in areas beneficial to both countries.

Furthermore, the meeting underscored the importance of holding the 7th session of the Joint Belarusian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, which is due to take place in Tbilisi on 17 March.

The countries are committed to a systematic approach in developing cooperation - spanning from economy and trade to culture, tourism, and education.
