Strategy for creating multibrand centers for Belarus’ machinery in Russia reviewed

The strategy for establishing multibrand centers for Belarusian machinery in the regions of the Russian Federation through 2030 was reviewed at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers on 11 March.

“At the board meeting of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, we discussed in detail the issues of increasing exports. The meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers is a logical continuation of that discussion. We will focus on a more specific issue: boosting exports of our machine-building products, namely the development of a network of multibrand centers, primarily in the Russian Federation,” Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin said.

During the meeting, participants reviewed how the establishment of multibrand centers could help expand Belarusian exports and what mechanisms should be used, whether enterprises should operate independently or work through partners in Russia.

“I would like to hear the opinion of the directors present here. The most important thing is that the tasks set today and the decisions we adopt will ultimately benefit our enterprises,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
