A meeting with the delegation of the Rosspetsmash Association was held in Gomel under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Karankevich.
The Belarusian side discussed with Russian partners the deepening of cooperation in mechanical engineering within the framework of the Union State.
The meeting gave a new impetus to practical cooperation with Gomel enterprises, in particular, JSC "GZLiN" and JSC "Gomselmash".
The agenda includes the expansion of industrial cooperation, the development of joint measures to protect the machine-building market of the Union State, the exchange of personnel and other issues of mutually beneficial cooperation.
In the workshops of the GZLIN, the guests were told about advanced technologies, the organization of labor, computerization and robotization of production, as well as ensuring environmental safety by large enterprises, aroused particular interest.
The prospects of cooperation between the association and the industrial giant of Belarus, Gomselmash, were also considered. At the enterprise, the Russian partners got acquainted with the stages of creating combines and the line of finished equipment.
The emphasis was placed on the automation of production and the use of CNC machines, as well as the improvement of painting work.
