Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on 6 May. During the meeting, Aleksandr Turchin outlined the prospects for developing trade and economic relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan.

Belarus and Russia held 11 Forums of Regions, achieving a $7 billion economic impact. More than 200 documents on cooperation are in force between the regions of Belarus and the CIS countries, Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Shuleiko said as he participated in the first Forum of Regions of the CIS member states in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 29 April.
In order for the economies of the CIS states to keep developing fast, it is necessary to continue efficiently implementing the sketched-out plans. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Yuri Shuleiko made the statement at a session of the CIS Economic Council in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
